Project Planner

Job Purpose
- Greenpeg Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented Project Planner to develop, manage, and monitor project schedules for multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- The successful candidate will work closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Monitor project progress, milestones, and critical paths.
- Prepare project forecasts, reports, and performance dashboards.
- Identify scheduling risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams.
- Support resource planning, budgeting, and cost monitoring.
- Track project KPIs and ensure accurate reporting.
- Promote project planning best practices and continuous improvement.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timely delivery of project schedules.
- Schedule accuracy and milestone achievement.
- Effective resource utilization.
- Timely submission of project reports.
- Successful mitigation of scheduling risks.
Job Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of project planning or scheduling experience in engineering, EPC, construction, or industrial projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
- Knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Strong Microsoft Excel and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems is an advantage.
Behavioural Competencies:
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
