Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tailor to join our fashion house.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality garments according to designs, measurements, and customer specifications while maintaining excellent finishing and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Take accurate measurements and interpret clothing designs and specifications.
• Cut fabrics accurately according to patterns and measurements.
• Sew and assemble garments to a high standard.
• Handle alterations, adjustments, and repairs when required.
• Ensure proper fitting and finishing of all garments.
• Work with different types of fabrics and sewing techniques.
• Maintain sewing machines, tools, and other equipment in good working condition.
• Meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.
• Collaborate with designers and other members of the production team.

Requirements

• Possess an OND with 3 - 5 years work experience.
• Proven experience as a Tailor or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of garment construction, cutting, sewing, and finishing.
• Ability to take accurate measurements and work from patterns or designs.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of different fabrics and sewing techniques is an advantage.
• Relevant training or apprenticeship in tailoring/fashion design is preferred.

• Creativity and a good eye for detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliability and punctuality.
• Ability to sew well without supervision.
• Professional attitude and willingness to learn.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 monthly.
