Executive Associate - Retail Business (EA - Retail Business)

About the Role

• Elkris Group is seeking an experienced, results-driven and commercially minded professional to join our leadership team asExecutive Associate – Retail Business (EA – Retail Business).
• This is a strategic management role responsible for driving sales growth, leading field sales operations, coordinating the Abujaoffice, and supporting the Chairman in executing key retail business initiatives.
• The ideal candidate will possess extensive FMCG sales and marketing experience, strong leadership capabilities, excellent business acumen, and a proven track record of building high-performing sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and motivate the Field Sales Representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase market penetration and revenue.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse market trends and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, wholesalers and key customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's retail presence.
• Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Lagos office, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Prepare periodic sales, market intelligence and performance reports for the Chairman and Executive Associate (Group).
• Collaborate with other business units to improve product availability and customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, coach and develop high-performing sales personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards and reporting requirements.
• Represent the company during business meetings, negotiations and strategic engagements as may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years' experience in Sales, Marketing or Commercial Operations within the FMCG industry.
• At least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
• Proven experience managing field sales teams.
• Strong knowledge of retail distribution channels and route-to-market strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to consistently deliver revenue growth.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• High level of professionalism, integrity and accountability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Must be willing to travel frequently within assigned territories.
