Credit Sales Officer

Job Summary

• We are seeking motivated and results-driven Credit Sales Officers to market the company's loan products to traders, SMEs, and business owners.
• The successful candidates will be responsible for generating leads, acquiring customers, conducting field activities, supporting customer verification, and following loan applications through to disbursement while maintaining strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Generate leads and actively market the company's loan products to traders, SMEs, and business owners.
• Conduct field visits to identify and engage prospective borrowers.
• Explain loan products, eligibility requirements, repayment terms, and other relevant information to prospective customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers.
• Collect and review required customer documentation and ensure loan application forms are properly completed.
• Support customer verification and other pre-disbursement processes in line with company procedures.
• Follow up on loan applications from submission through approval and disbursement.
• Achieve assigned individual and team sales and disbursement targets.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, customer interactions, and sales activities.
• Provide regular activity and performance reports to the Credit Team Lead or management.
• Collaborate with the Credit, Operations, and Recovery teams to support healthy portfolio performance.
• Stay informed about market conditions, customer needs, and competitor activities.
• Ensure all customer acquisition and sales activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in any relevant discipline.
• Must have completed NYSC.
• Relevant experience in sales, business development, financial services, microfinance, lending, or a related field is an advantage.
• Strong sales, negotiation, persuasion, and customer relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently and conduct field activities.
• Target-driven with a strong desire to achieve and exceed assigned targets.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant business applications.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
