Business Development Officer (GPO & Trade-Finance Sales)

Aviot Investment Nigeria Limited — the Nigerian subsidiary of a Canadian finance and investment holding company  is hiring a Business Development Officer to originate institutional revenue across facilities/procurement contracts and structured trade finance.This is a hunter role: you will originate private-sector cleaning/facilities and procurement contracts and support structured-trade-finance deals. Paid on what you close and collect — not on activity.

Network requirement (mandatory): named, verifiable relationships with facilities/procurement decision-makers in the Lagos private sector — banks/branch networks, industrial estates, schools, hospitals, hotels, corporate offices. Your application must state your sector relationships (not names publicly) and two verifiable closed B2B deals.

We require: 3+ years B2B/institutional sales with verifiable closed deals; demonstrated prospecting ability; strong written and spoken English; spreadsheet and pipeline discipline; based in Lagos, daily client sites; NYSC completed or exempt. We are an AI-forward company: day-to-day work runs on Google Workspace with AI assistance, and comfort using AI tools in real work is a requirement.

Benefit

Base salary of ₦250,000–₦300,000/month plus uncapped commission on collected contract value (5–8% first-year) and a trailing residual on retained recurring accounts. Realistic Year-1 OTE ₦6M–₦10M+ for a closer who builds a recurring book
