A restaurant manager oversees daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient, profitable, and high-quality service. Core duties include staff scheduling, inventory control, budget management, compliance with health and safety standards, and ensuring guest satisfaction. 

Core Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and schedule staff. Oversee both the kitchen and waitstaff, fostering a positive, collaborative work environment. 
• Customer Experience: Greet diners, build relationships with regulars, and swiftly resolve any complaints or concerns. 
• Financial Management: Track daily sales, manage labor and food costs, and optimize profitability within the established budget. 
• Inventory Oversight: Monitor stock levels, order supplies, manage supplier relationships, and minimize waste. 

Key Qualifications & Skills

• Leadership & Communication: Strong ability to motivate teams and communicate clearly across all departments.
• Conflict Resolution: Excellent problem-solving skills to manage stressful situations with both staff and customers.
• Technical Literacy: Proficiency in restaurant management software, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and scheduling tools.
