Job title : Talent and Learning Advisor

This role works closely with the Talent Manager and HRBPs to implement the Talent Strategy for TSL Metroline in terms of acquisition and learning. The role also oversees the Talent Acquisition Strategy of TSL Metroline and ensures that it is properly documented.

As a Talent Advisor, you will:

• Move TSL Metroline from 100% reactive sourcing to being more proactive-focused.
• Drive the Employer of Choice Agenda through innovative employer brand programmes.
• Be accountable for delivering high-quality, timely, cost-effective and professional recruitment services to the business.
• Effectively interface with 3rd party recruiters or other recruitment service providers where needed.
• Be a centre of excellence in recruitment admin processes.
• Provide a recruitment service to line managers for positions up to and including senior management for all departments and levels: operations, technicians and graduates/management trainees.
• Craft engaging learning journeys based on output from talent reviews, performance conversations and the ambition of the company.
• Drive the implementation of the learning calendar.
• Implement learning programmes in line with agreements from Heads of Departments.
• Organise learning logistics and events in line with the plans.
• Manage learning communication – invitations, provide standard letters
• Maintain an e-leaning platform, where applicable.
• Drive the utilisation of LMS for all learning activities

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment

• Conduct admin. of recruitment activities, including reviewing the job requisition, determining the best method to source candidates, activating appropriate sourcing channels, screening candidates using application reviews and telephone interviews, short-listing candidates, coordinating interviews for line managers, communicating feedback and other information to candidates, advising relevant departments and new employees on “Day One” activities.
• Ensure efficient administration of the whole recruitment process
• Oversee all recruitment process activity to ensure the service is delivered to the country line / customer in accordance with the Policy and agreed SLAs
• Act as the main contact for recruitment admin. services provided to country / cluster / customer
• Oversee all recruitment services provided.
• Reporting of operational performance, as defined in the policy, and submitting reports to the Talent and Performance Manager.
• Co-ordinate collection, collation and reporting of recruitment KPIs and SLAs
• First escalation point within the organisation for any customer issues & problems in recruitment administration.
• Responsible for managing teams and monitoring output performance.
• Ensure legal and policy compliance in their own field of responsibility.
• Manage/administer employee referral systems, internal recruitment adverts and similar internal processes.

Learning

• Communicate planned courses to target audiences
• Distribute joining instructions and other logistics for attendants, guests, and internal & external speakers.
• Manage/organise learning events, sites, dedicated physical learning locations at sites and all related documentation (no-shows, last-minute entry, co-ordination with Help Desk to ensure related statistics are updated.)
• Monitor customer service to ensure customer satisfaction
• Ensure course evaluation at all levels required by the HR Team
• Ensure training levy compliance, registration and reimbursements
• Support learning budget tracking and invoice/payment follow-up as required.
• Generate learning reports, KPIs and SLAs on a monthly basis to the Talent Manager.
• Manage day-to-day user issues.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• EDUCATION: University degree from an accredited university.
• EXPERIENCE: 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
• PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIP OR REGISTRATION: HR Professional Certification

KNOWLEDGE

The incumbent must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:

• Knowledge of employer brand trends and ability to come up with innovative EB initiatives.
• Knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, including but not limited to the latest talent sourcing strategies, delivering high-quality candidate experience, and executing excellent on-boarding for new recruits.
• Knowledge of technology and IT tools for recruitment and learning
• Demonstrated project management skills – planning for success and delivering to plan
