Job Summary
- Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is seeking a creative and experienced Architect to design, plan, and oversee construction projects from concept to completion.
- The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience and will be responsible for producing functional, safe, and aesthetically pleasing designs while ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings for construction projects
- Prepare presentation drawings, 3D renderings, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers on project execution
- Review project requirements and ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations
- Conduct site inspections and monitor implementation of architectural designs
- Prepare and review construction documents and material specifications
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timelines
- Provide technical guidance and resolve design-related issues during construction
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc./M.Sc./HND) in Architecture or related field
- 5 years minimum proven experience in architectural design and project supervision (mandatory)
- Proficiency in architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Lumion, or similar tools
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, construction methods, and building materials
- Ability to prepare and interpret detailed architectural drawings and specifications
- Good understanding of Nigerian building regulations and standards
- Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional registration or membership (e.g., ARCON, NIA)
- Experience working on residential, commercial, or institutional projects
- Knowledge of sustainable and modern architectural practices
- Experience in interior and exterior design coordination.
