Legal Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and proofread contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on various matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of legal and regulatory documents.
- Support the management of legal disputes and liaise with external counsel when required.
- Maintain organized records of legal documents and contracts.
- Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and advise management accordingly.
- Provide legal support to HR, Sales, Procurement, Finance, and other departments.
- Assist with corporate governance and company secretarial duties.
- Perform other legal and administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (LL.B.) in Law.
- Call to the Nigerian Bar (BL) is required.
- 0 - 2 years of post-call experience in a law firm or corporate legal environment.
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian corporate, commercial, and labour laws.
- Excellent legal drafting and research skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
