Job Summary
- Are you passionate about creating safe and healthy workplaces?
- We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Officer to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct routine workplace inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports.
- Organize HSE inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training.
- Ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor the use of PPE and enforce safe work practices.
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and documentation.
- Develop and implement emergency response and evacuation plans.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HSE role.
- Relevant HSE certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISPON, OSHA, IOSH) will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Salary
N150,000 - N170,000 monthly.
