- The finance officer will handle daily transaction postings, reconciliations of bank statements, and payments and trade settlements.
- He/ She will also be involved in external stakeholders’ engagements such as regulatory audits and compliance.
Job Details
- Accounting and record keeping: Manage receivables and payables and record daily transactions.
- Reconciliation: Carry out periodic, monthly bank reconciliation and other reconciliation where required.
- Reporting: Support preparation of monthly, quarterly reports to all stakeholders.
- Budgeting: Assist in annual budget preparation.
- Audit and compliance: Provide support during external audit and regulatory audits.
- Support: Provide support to other business units.
Requirements
Education
- BSc (Accounting or Finance)
- Minimum Years of Experience 2-3 years post-NYSC
- Required Certifications / Licences - ACA or ACCA
Technical Skills
- Proficient use of Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting entries.
- Proficiency with any used Software /ERP
