People Operation Officer

Job Description

• We are looking for a proactive and people-oriented HR Generalist to support the end-to-end employee lifecycle while driving operational excellence across our Human Resources function.
• The ideal candidate will be passionate about people, knowledgeable in HR best practices, and capable of balancing strategic initiatives with day-to-day HR operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee integration.
• Administer employee records and maintain HRIS accuracy.
• Support performance management, goal setting, and appraisal processes.
• Coordinate learning and development initiatives and track training effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian Labour Laws and internal HR policies.
• Handle employee relations matters, grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
• Support payroll administration, leave management, and employee benefits.
• Develop and implement HR policies, SOPs, and process improvements.
• Prepare HR reports and dashboards, providing insights on key people metrics.
• Drive employee engagement, culture, and wellness initiatives.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
• 5–6years of progressive HR Generalist experience only.
• Professional certification (CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, HRCI, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian Labour Law and HR best practices.
• Experience using an HRIS (e.g., SeamlessHR or similar platforms).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
