Role Overview
- Earl Consulting is seeking an exceptional, highly strategic, and results-oriented Deputy Managing Director for a leading real estate firm in Lagos
- The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director/CEO to drive executive leadership, business strategy, operational excellence, revenue expansion, and overall corporate growth.
- This role demands a proven leader in the real estate sector with a track record of exceeding targets and managing high-value portfolio operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Executive Leadership:
- Collaborate with executive board members to define long-term business goals, expansion strategies, and market positioning within the real estate industry.
- Oversee cross-functional operations across sales, business development, project execution, and administrative divisions to ensure strategic alignment.
Sales & Revenue Growth Management:
- Lead high-level sales and commercial strategies to drive property acquisitions, residential/commercial developments, and investment portfolios.
- Set, monitor, and achieve aggressive corporate revenue targets, key performance indicators (KPIs), and profitability metrics.
Operational Excellence & Risk Management:
- Direct day-to-day organizational workflows, establishing high operational standards and optimal resource allocation.
- Ensure corporate governance, legal compliance, and effective risk management across all real estate transactions and development projects.
Stakeholder & Investor Relations:
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with key investors, corporate clients, government agencies, financial institutions, and joint-venture partners.
- Represent the organization at industry forums, real estate expos, and executive stakeholder meetings.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Architecture, Engineering, or related fields. An MBA or relevant Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of active, highly productive experience in executive management, business development, or operational leadership within the Real Estate sector, with documented targets delivered.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of delivering high-impact revenue targets, expanding market share, and leading multi-disciplinary real estate teams.
- Key Competencies: Exceptional executive leadership, corporate strategy formulation, financial negotiation, risk management, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
