Student Recruitment Lead

About the Role
- Our client is seeking a proactive, results-driven Student Recruitment Lead to lead student recruitment and admissions efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for attracting prospective students, building relationships with schools and communities, managing the admissions pipeline, and driving enrolment growth.
- This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys field engagement, relationship management, outreach, and working towards measurable recruitment targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement weekly and monthly student recruitment plans aligned with enrolment targets.
- Drive student outreach across schools, communities, youth networks, and relevant events.
- Organise and facilitate career talks, information sessions, open days, and student/parent engagement activities.
- Identify, qualify, and nurture prospective students throughout the recruitment funnel.
- Guide applicants through the application, assessment, offer, payment, and enrolment stages.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, community organisations, sponsors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to plan and execute student recruitment campaigns.
- Coordinate recruitment events, outreach materials, and admissions communications.
- Maintain accurate prospect and admissions records using CRM systems or lead trackers.
- Monitor recruitment performance, prepare weekly funnel reports, and follow up on leads to improve conversion.
- Gather feedback from prospective students and partners and recommend improvements to the recruitment process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience in Marketing, Business, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in student recruitment, admissions, field sales, edtech enrolment, community mobilisation, training programme recruitment, or a related target-driven role.
- Demonstrated experience managing prospects through a recruitment or sales funnel and achieving enrolment or conversion targets.
- Strong field recruitment, networking, relationship-building, and event facilitation skills.
- Experience using a CRM, admissions platform, or structured lead-tracking system.
- Basic ability to analyse recruitment funnel data and track performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good knowledge of Lagos communities, schools, and youth networks is an advantage.
- Experience in vocational education, workforce development, or social-impact programmes is an added advantage.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
