Job Summary
- Are you an experienced Ticketing Agent with a passion for delivering exceptional travel experiences?
- Our client, a reputable Travel and Tours Company, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to join their team.
- As a Ticketing Agent, you will be responsible for managing flight reservations, issuing and reissuing tickets, handling itinerary changes, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
- The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of airline reservation systems, fare rules, and travel documentation while ensuring seamless travel arrangements for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Book, issue, reissue, and cancel domestic and international flight tickets.
- Handle flight reservations and itinerary modifications.
- Advise clients on the best flight options, fares, and travel routes.
- Process refunds, exchanges, and ticket revalidation in accordance with airline policies.
- Ensure accuracy of all travel bookings and documentation.
- Provide prompt and professional customer support before, during, and after ticket issuance.
- Stay updated on airline schedules, fare changes, travel regulations, and visa requirements.
- Resolve ticketing issues and customer complaints efficiently.
- Maintain accurate booking records and prepare periodic reports.
- Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Ticketing Agent in a Travel and Tours Agency.
- Strong knowledge of airline ticketing procedures and fare rules.
- Proficiency in GDS platformssuch asAmadeus, Galileo, or Sabre.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple bookings simultaneously.
- Good problem-solving and organizational skills.
- A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
- Professional certifications in airline ticketing or travel management will be an added advantage.
Salary & Benefits
- N200,000 – N250,000 monthly (based on experience and qualifications).
