Agribusiness Sales Executive (Lagos and Rivers)

Job Summary

• We are seeking ambitious, experienced Agribusiness Sales Executives to grow our customer base and drive Larvarium sales in Port Harcourt, Lagos and surrounding markets.

Job Purpose

• The Agribusiness Sales Executive will be responsible for generating leads, building customer relationships, conducting presentations and farm visits, and achieving a monthly sales target of 10 Larvariums.
• The ideal candidate must have relevant sales experience, a strong understanding of the agricultural market, and an existing network of farmers, agribusiness owners, cooperatives, investors, distributors, and other potential customers who can be approached immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve a monthly sales target of 10 Larvariums.
• Identify, engage, and convert prospective customers.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified sales opportunities.
• Conduct customer presentations, farm visits, product demonstrations, and sales meetings.
• Prospect within key customer segments, including:
• Commercial farmers
• Agricultural cooperatives and associations
• Agricultural investors
• Feed producers and distributors
• Recruit and activate independent sales partners and referral channels.
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospective and existing customers.
• Submit accurate sales activity, pipeline, and performance reports.
• Provide customer feedback, competitor information, and market intelligence.
• Represent SafeNest at agricultural events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

Performance Targets

• Monthly individual target: 10 Larvariums
• Maintain a healthy and active sales pipeline.
• Conduct consistent customer meetings, farm visits, and follow-ups.
• Build a productive network of independent sales and referral partners.
• Maintain accurate and timely sales reports.

Candidate Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
• Minimum of three years’ relevant sales experience, preferably in:Agribusiness, real estate or investments
• Proven ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and close deals.
• Strong network within the agricultural sector.
• Good knowledge of the agricultural market in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and surrounding areas.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings and farm visits.

Working Arrangement:

• Mandatory office presence: 3-5 days as may be required.
• During the initial stage of the sales operation, employees may be required to work from the office more frequently to support onboarding, sales training, system setup, and team coordination.
• Other working days will focus on customer meetings, farm visits, product demonstrations, partner development, and field sales activities.

Salary
N250,000 monthly.
