Job title : Electrical Technician - Premier Feed Mills,

Purpose

• We are looking for a skilled electrical technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations.

The Job

• Assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring, equipment, appliances, and control systems.
• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing faulty electrical and electronic equipment to minimize downtime.
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for maintenance activities.
• Fabricating and modifying electrical components using appropriate hand tools and technical specifications.
• Conducting routine inspections of plant electrical panels and equipment using approved checklists.
• Participating in Preventive Maintenance (PM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), and other maintenance programs.
• Monitoring and recording energy consumption and other operational data to support plant performance improvement.
• Calibrating weighing scales and other electrical measuring devices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records, shift reports, and other required technical documentation.

Qualification

• OND, NABTEB, Trade Test, or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2–3 years' relevant experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

The Person Must:

• Have sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
• Be able to troubleshoot and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
• Be able to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Have experience with preventive and corrective maintenance practices.
