- We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-focused Quality Control Officer to monitor production processes and ensure that feed products consistently meet the company's quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in Feed Mill operations and possess strong knowledge of in-process quality inspection, sampling techniques, and quality control procedures. Candidates must have previous Feed Mill experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process quality inspections throughout the feed production process.
- Collect and test raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished feed products according to established quality standards.
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications and operating procedures.
- Identify quality deviations and immediately report non-conforming products or production issues.
- Carry out routine quality checks on feed ingredients, mash, pellets, and finished products.
- Record inspection results accurately and prepare quality control reports.
- Ensure production complies with food safety, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements.
- Support investigations into quality complaints and recommend corrective actions.
Requirements
- Minimum of SSCE qualification.
- 2–3 years of proven experience in Quality Control/In-Process Testing within a Feed Mill is mandatory.
- Good understanding of feed manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of feed ingredients, quality standards, and production procedures.
- Ability to identify quality defects and recommend corrective actions.
- Good record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be willing to work shifts when required.
- Must be resident in Ibadan or willing to relocate.
