JOB VACANCY: PERSONNEL OFFICER

NSIK ENGINEERING COMPANY LIMITED

NSIK Engineering Company Limited, a reputable organization in engineering, construction, transport, and logistics services, is seeking competent and organized individuals to join our team as Personnel Officers. The Personnel Officer will support the management of staff and personnel activities across the Head Office and various construction and operational sites. The Personnel Officer reports directly to the Head of Personnel and assists in coordinating personnel matters across all company locations. Location: Head Office – Obio Etoi, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with responsibilities that may include periodic visits to construction sites and operational locations outside the headquarters. Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and update staff records and personnel files for employees across Head Office and site locations.
  • Assist in staff recruitment, onboarding, and documentation processes.
  • Monitor staff attendance, leave schedules, and staff movement records.
  • Support the deployment and coordination of personnel across construction sites and operational units.
  • Assist in enforcing company personnel policies and procedures.
  • Handle routine personnel correspondence and staff-related documentation.
  • Assist in preparing personnel reports and updates for management review.
  • Support staff welfare administration and coordinate staff communication.
  • Assist in handling minor staff issues and escalate complex matters to the Head of Personnel.
  • Perform other personnel and administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Personnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–3 years relevant experience in personnel administration or human resource support roles.
  • Basic knowledge of personnel management practices and labor regulations.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple locations and teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word and Excel.
  • Professional certification in HR or Personnel Management (e.g., CIPM or equivalent) will be an added advantage.
Remuneration: Salary is highly competitive, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Deadline: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
