Job Summary
- We are seeking a competent Mechanical Engineer to support the installation, operation, inspection, maintenance, and improvement of mechanical equipment used in the oil and gas servicing sector of our organization.
- The role requires strong technical judgment, field awareness, and commitment to safety and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment.
- Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
- Support equipment commissioning, testing, and performance monitoring.
- Conduct failure analysis and recommend practical improvements.
- Coordinate with operations, HSE, vendors, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, industry standards, and HSE requirements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, inspection, and equipment records
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in oil and gas services.
- Knowledge of pumps, compressors, piping systems, valves, and rotating equipment.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and relevant industry standards.
- Professional registration or certification is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work at project sites and locations when required.
Salary
N350,000 - N500,000 monthly.
