Job title : English Language Teacher

Job Summary

• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging English Language lessons and developing students' communication, literacy, analytical, and comprehension skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective English Language lessons.
• Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, and comprehension skills.
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
• Set, administer, mark, and review assessments.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide appropriate feedback.
• Prepare relevant teaching and learning resources.
• Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
• Participate actively in school activities and co-curricular programmes.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (B.Ed., B.Sc / B.A with PGDE) or NCE in the relevant field.
• TRCN registration or evidence of registration will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Sound knowledge of modern teaching methods and digital learning tools.
• A strong passion for child development and academic excellence.
• Good moral character and integrity.
• A strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Ability to create a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Commitment to the academic, personal, social, and character development of students.
• Relevant teaching experience will be an added advantage.
