Finance Officer

Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance Officer to manage the company's financial records, transactions, reporting, and day-to-day financial activities.
• The ideal candidate should have strong numerical skills, financial knowledge, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial transactions and records.
• Prepare invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and financial documents.
• Monitor income, expenses, and cash flow.
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
• Process payments and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Prepare monthly financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Monitor expenses against approved budgets.
• Support payroll and staff expense processing.
• Liaise with banks, vendors, auditors, and other financial stakeholders.
• Ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist with tax and statutory financial obligations.
• Identify and resolve financial discrepancies.

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of financial procedures and accounting principles.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to prepare financial reports and reconciliations.
• Strong numerical and analytical ability.
• Knowledge of Nigerian tax and statutory requirements is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as ICAN/ACCA is an added advantage.
