- Nairapoint Finance Limited is looking for a sharp, analytical Credit Risk Officer to join our risk management team in Lagos. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of our loan portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze loan applications from individuals and businesses to determine risk levels.
- Check financial statements, bank statements, and credit bureau reports to verify borrower information.
- Give professional recommendations to approve or decline loan requests based on credit policies.
- Monitor our active loan portfolio to spot early warning signs of non-payment or default.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports tracking loan portfolio performance, collections, and account status.
Requirements
- University degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Credit Analyst or Credit Risk Officer in a fintech, microfinance bank, or commercial bank.
- Strong skills in financial statement analysis, ratio analysis, and risk assessment.
- High attention to detail and good decision-making skills.
