Quality Control / Assurance Officer (Polythene / Polymer)

Job Description
- We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control/Assurance Officer with practical experience in polythene/polymer manufacturing to ensure that raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet established quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Investigate quality issues and work with production teams to identify root causes.
- Ensure rejected or defective products are properly identified and controlled.
- Maintain accurate quality inspection records and prepare quality reports.
- Support the implementation and monitoring of quality control procedures.
- Ensure production activities comply with company quality standards and applicable industry requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections of production equipment and processes from a quality perspective.
- Participate in corrective and preventive action (CAPA) activities.
Requirements
- Minimum of an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant QC/QA experience in polythene, polymer, nylon, plastic, packaging, or related manufacturing.
- Practical experience with polythene/polymer products is required.
- Good understanding of quality control procedures and manufacturing processes.
Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 monthly.
