Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Location: Jos – Plateau, and Benin – Edo

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) with a strong background in the FMCG industry to lead and drive sales performance across the assigned region.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing high-performing sales teams, executing effective route-to-market strategies, and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Lead, coach, and manage the regional sales team to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
Drive market expansion, distributor performance, and outlet coverage within the region.
Monitor sales performance, analyze market trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, key accounts, and trade partners.
Ensure effective execution of trade marketing activities and promotions.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum of 12 years’ total sales experience, beginning from a salesman role.
At least 4 years’ proven experience as a regional sales manager.
Mandatory FMCG industry experience (only candidates with FMCG backgrounds will be considered).
Strong experience in team leadership, distributor management, and sales execution.
Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth through effective people and performance management.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
