Baking / Production Manager

Job Description
- We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Baking / Production Manager to oversee daily bakery operations, ensure consistent product quality, drive production efficiency, and lead a high-performing team to meet business goals and customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage daily baking and production activities to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste.
- Ensure consistent quality and appearance of all bakery products.
- Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and coordinate timely replenishment.
- Maintain production equipment and ensure proper maintenance and hygiene.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality standards, and HSE regulations.
- Lead, train, motivate, and evaluate production staff to optimize performance.
- Analyze production data, identify improvements, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve overall business objectives.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of proven experience in a similar role in a bakery or food manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking processes, recipes, ingredients, and production techniques.
- Experience in team leadership and workforce management.
- Sound understanding of food safety and hygiene standards, including HACCP and ISO 22000.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Relevant certification in Baking, Food Science, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Candidates residing within close proximity to Ago Palace will be preferred.
What We Offer
- Competitive salary: N150,000 – N180,000 (Based on experience)
