Volunteer - Social Media Content Creator

To support the organization’s digital presence by creating engaging, informative, and audience-focused content that increases awareness, engagement, and visibility of the organization’s programs, activities, and advocacy efforts. Key Responsibilities Develop creative and engaging content for social media platforms. Create content ideas and captions. Develop and follow a monthly social media content calendar. Research relevant topics and trends to generate timely and relatable content. Adapt content to suit different social media platforms and target audiences. Support promotion of campaigns, events, programs, and organizational activities. Monitor social media trends and recommend creative ways to improve engagement. Track basic social media performance, including reach, impressions, engagement, and follower growth. Work with the Programs and Communications teams to ensure content accurately reflects the organization’s objectives and values. Maintain consistency in the organization’s tone, messaging, and visual identity.
