Regional Sales Manager - FMCG

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to drive sales growth, market expansion, and distribution across the assigned region.
• The successful candidate will lead the regional sales team, manage distributors and key customers, and ensure achievement of sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
• Lead, coach, and manage the regional sales team to deliver agreed KPIs.
• Manage distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key trade partners.
• Drive market penetration, product distribution, visibility, and customer acquisition.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer needs.
• Conduct regular market and field visits to improve sales execution.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, performance reports, and market updates.
• Work with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other teams to ensure effective sales operations.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the company's market presence.
• Ensure compliance with company sales policies, pricing, and trade terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree / HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 10 years of sales experience, preferably in FMCG or consumer goods.
• At least 4years in a sales management/supervisory role.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong experience in distributor and territory management.
• Good knowledge of FMCG distribution and retail markets.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales/CRM reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
• Valid driver's licence is an added advantage.
