Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Develop lesson plans and curricula that align with the Yoruba language syllabus and national curriculum
- Teach Yoruba language, literature, and culture effectively across different grade levels
- Prepare students for assessments, examinations, and oral presentations
- Organise cultural events, guest speakers, and field trips to enrich student learning
- Incorporate current events and relevant themes into lessons to make them engaging and relatable
- Stay updated on modern teaching techniques and integrate technology into classroom instruction
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Yoruba Language, Linguistics, Education, or related field
- TRCN certification is an added advantage
- Solid knowledge of Yoruba language, literature, and culture
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- Proficiency in the use of technology and computer applications for teaching
- Up-to-date with 21st-century teaching methods.
