Job Summary The Loan Officer will be responsible for loan origination, appraisal, disbursement support, and recovery, ensuring quality credit decisions and compliance with the bank’s credit policies. Key Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate loan applications.
- Conduct credit analysis and field verification.
- Prepare credit appraisal reports and recommendations.
- Ensure proper loan documentation and disbursement processes.
- Monitor loan performance and ensure timely repayments.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and support recovery efforts.
- Ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain accurate credit records and reports.
- ND/ B.Sc/HND in Banking & Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 1–3 years’ experience in credit/loan management.
- Strong analytical and risk assessment skills.
- Good knowledge of microfinance lending practices.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
