Civil Design Engineer

Job Summary
- Our client in the Oil & Gas sector is seeking to hire an experienced Civil Design Engineer with a strong background in pipeline construction and civil infrastructure projects.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, planning, coordination, and execution of civil engineering works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review civil engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications for pipeline and infrastructure projects.
- Support the planning, execution, and supervision of pipeline construction activities.
- Conduct site assessments, technical evaluations, and feasibility studies.
- Coordinate contractors and project teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, quality, HSE compliance, and technical standards.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and resolve engineering issues during execution.
Requirements
- B.Sc./HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- 5 - 10 years' experience in the Oil & Gas, EPC, or infrastructure sector.
- Proven experience in pipeline construction projects is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of civil design principles, construction methods, and project execution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other engineering design software.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
- COREN registration or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
