Chef de Partie - Pizza Section

Our client is seeking a talented Chef de Partie – Pizza Section to join the kitchen team. If you have hands-on experience preparing traditional Italian pizzas and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare, cook, and present authentic Italian pizzas in line with restaurant standards.
* Prepare and manage daily mise en place for the pizza section.
* Produce fresh pizza dough daily, following proper fermentation and hydration techniques.
* Operate and maintain wood-fired or stone pizza ovens safely and efficiently.
* Ensure every pizza meets the restaurant’s quality, taste, and presentation standards.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation in compliance with food safety standards.
* Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and daily requisitions.
* Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.
* Support the training and development of junior kitchen staff.
* Adhere to all company policies, food safety, and hygiene regulations.
* Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude at all times.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef or kitchen management.

Requirements

* Minimum of 2–3 years’ experience as a Pizza Chef or Chef de Partie in an Italian restaurant or pizzeria.
* Strong knowledge of traditional Italian pizza styles, including Neapolitan, Roman, and Classic dough preparation.
* Hands-on experience using wood-fired or stone pizza ovens.
* Excellent understanding of dough fermentation, hydration, and hand-stretching techniques.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality.
* Good understanding of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen hygiene standards.
* Positive attitude, excellent teamwork skills, and willingness to learn.
