Consultant Anaesthetist / Intensivist

Job Overview

• We are seeking an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist / Intensivist to strengthen our Medical team.
• The successful candidate will deliver excellent care, support colleagues, and contribute to continuous improvement at Enugu International Hospital.
• You will work within a multidisciplinary team serving patients across South-East Nigeria, with access to modern facilities and a clear pathway for professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality clinical care within the Medical service
• Participate in multidisciplinary ward rounds and case conferences
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to teaching programmes
• Uphold clinical governance, documentation, and patient safety standards
• Support quality improvement and audit initiatives
• Collaborate with allied specialties to ensure seamless patient pathways

Qualifications and Experience

• MBBS with Fellowship in Anaesthesia and full MDCN registration
• Current registration with the applicable Nigerian regulatory body, where required
• Evidence of continuing professional development
• 8+ years experience.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first mindset
