Job Summary

• We are seeking ambitious, energetic, and target-driven graduates to join our Management Trainee Program – Business Development (Field Operations).
• The program is designed to develop participants into high-performing banking professionals through practical field experience, structured training, customer acquisition, sales development, and exposure to core business development activities.
• Successful candidates will support the bank's growth by acquiring new customers, promoting banking products and services, managing customer relationships, and identifying business opportunities within assigned territories.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire prospective customers within assigned locations and territories.
• Promote and sell the bank's products and services, including savings/current accounts, loans, cards, digital banking solutions, POS, and other financial products.
• Conduct field visits, market activations, and direct sales activities to generate new business.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Generate quality leads and convert prospects into active customers.
• Achieve assigned daily, weekly, and monthly sales and acquisition targets.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments.
• Educate customers on the benefits, features, and requirements of various banking products.
• Ensure proper completion and submission of customer onboarding and account-opening documentation.
• Follow all bank policies, regulatory requirements, KYC procedures, and compliance standards.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, leads, and conversions.
• Participate in team meetings, training sessions, coaching, and performance reviews.
• Provide regular reports on field activities, sales performance, and market feedback.
• Work collaboratively with branch teams and other business development personnel.
• Represent the bank professionally during field engagements, campaigns, and customer interactions.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree/HND from a recognized institution.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with 0–2 years of sales/business development experience are encouraged to apply.
• Strong interest in banking, sales, business development, and financial services.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasion, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Must be comfortable working in a field-based environment.
• Target-driven, proactive, energetic, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good knowledge of the assigned market or territory is an advantage.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, integrity, resilience, and willingness to learn.
