- As the Senior Sales Manager - Integrated Solutions, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding Baker Hughes' presence within the Oilfield Services (OFS) market in Nigeria.
- You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing integrated solutions opportunities across the oil and gas value chain, working closely with customers to deliver value-driven solutions that address complex operational challenges.
- This strategic leadership role requires close collaboration with customers and cross-functional Baker Hughes teams to develop winning commercial strategies, lead complex sales pursuits, and oversee opportunities from business development and tendering through execution and project closeout.
- The successful candidate will be instrumental in building a sustainable pipeline, strengthening customer relationships, and delivering profitable growth through innovative integrated solutions.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Sales Manager- Integrated Solutions, you will be responsible for:
- Driving business growth by identifying, developing, and winning integrated solutions opportunities.
- Building strong customer relationships and developing strategic account plans to expand market share and revenue.
- Leading complex sales cycles, including solution development, commercial strategy, tendering, contract negotiations, and project awards.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Commercial functions to deliver customer-focused solutions.
- Managing client-specific projects and contracts, ensuring successful execution, risk management, and customer satisfaction.
- Providing market insights and strategic direction to strengthen Baker Hughes' integrated solutions portfolio and long-term growth strategy.
- Handling complex products and systems requiring technical knowledge and knowledge of the environment where the products or systems will be used.
- Managing complex long-term sales processes.
- Products and systems are client specific and require technical analysis and system design to fit client conditions.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will:
- Bachelor's Degree in appropriate discipline (e.g. Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing) or equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Excellent technical knowledge within one or multiple OFS product lines.
- Have at least 5 years of experience in Sales and Marketing.
- Minimum of 15 years previous experience in Oil & Gas sales and customer engagement, with focus on large cross product line projects, , sell-side research, strategy consulting, or industrial marketing / strategy.
- Critical thinking, objective analysis of information, evaluate evidence, challenge assumptions, and make sound well informed decisions.
- Strategic thinking that supports system thinking, establishing how different functions, processes, decisions, and solutions interconnect to offer maximum value.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, creating ability to influence and lead cross functional teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills at executive levels
- Excellent networking and team working skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
