- Experienced Panel Saw Operator required to run the Biesse Selco SK3 CNC beam saw in a woodworking/furniture production environment.
- Focus on precise panel cutting, optimisation, and efficient machine operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, program, and operate the Selco SK3 for accurate single or stack panel cutting.
- Use OSI software for pattern optimisation, simulation, labelling, and barcoding.
- Handle blade changes (Quick Change system), adjustments (Digiset), loading/unloading, and quality inspection.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and waste minimisation.
- Strictly follow safety protocols and production schedules.
Requirements
- 4–7 years hands-on experience with Biesse Selco SK3 or similar CNC beam saw.
- Ability to read technical drawings and cutting lists.
- Strong attention to detail, computer skills, and physical fitness for workshop duties.
- Knowledge of woodworking materials (MDF, chipboard, plywood, etc.).
