Social Media & Content Fellow (VettedAI Creator Fellowship)

You will be a Social Media & Content Fellow (VettedAI Creator Fellowship) at VettedAI, building the most recognizable talent brand in Africa through AI-powered content creation. You will choose one of three tracks—Short-Form Video Creator, Growth & Analytics, or AI Content Ops—to produce high-volume, high-quality content, with direct mentorship from the founders. This 3-month fellowship is designed to transition into owning a core growth workstream and potentially a paid content role as VettedAI scales its evidence-based hiring infrastructure in Africa.

You'll be instrumental in establishing VettedAI as the most recognizable talent brand in Africa, aiming for a "Forbes-30-under-30 meets TED" presence for African talent. This role isn't just about execution; you'll be directly mentored by the founders and given the strategy and existing footage, but challenged to produce high-volume, high-quality content without sacrificing standards. You'll choose one of three specialized tracks—Short-Form Video Creator, Growth & Analytics, or AI Content Ops—and be expected to hit specific targets. This is a hands-on apprenticeship in building a brand from week one, not a traditional internship focused on scheduling posts. You're joining a pre-seed company whose content engine is becoming a core growth channel as it scales, offering a direct path to owning a workstream and potentially earning a paid content role if you hit your track's targets in month one.

What you'll do

• Produce 7+ interview/collab videos weekly with a 3-second hook and burned captions, under 30s (Track 1)
• Test weekly TikTok/Reel trends against our niche, with a minimum of one experiment per week (Track 1)
• Film at monthly live events like Talent Social and Recruiters Ring, capturing subjects and stories (Tracks 1-2)
• Manage the daily posting cadence across Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including 3 job-role posts weekly (Track 2)
• Engineer systematic content collaborations to replicate the success of top-performing posts (Track 2)
• Own the Friday data read, writing growth hypotheses, testing them, and iterating based on results (Track 2)
• Run the repurposing machine, turning event/panel transcripts into ten assets (newsletters, carousels, clips) per event (Track 3)
• Cut 50+ hours of existing footage bank into shippable shorts (Track 3)
• Build an end-to-end content pipeline (capture → edit → caption → post → track) with AI integrated at every step (Track 3)

Requirements

• You have tangible evidence of producing content that achieved results, whether a page you grew, edits you shipped, or a post that gained traction.
• You can articulate *why* a piece of content performed effectively, beyond just stating that it did.
• You consistently ship weekly without needing reminders, prioritizing speed over excessive polish when appropriate.
• You are comfortable being present at in-person events (required for Tracks 1 and 2).
• You are proficient in AI tools like Claude/ChatGPT (for drafting, repurposing, ideation) and CapCut/Opus Clip (for cutdowns/auto-clipping).
• You understand and adhere to strict content rules regarding verified claims, verbatim quotes, on-camera consent, and sign-off processes.
• You are ready to engage in an apprenticeship model, taking ownership and driving outcomes from day one.

Nice to have

• You've previously attended a Talent Social or Recruiters Ring event and grasp its unique value.
• You have experience growing an account (personal or brand) past 1,000 followers.
