Patient Relations & Communications Executive

Job Purpose

• The Patient Relations & Communications Executive strengthens the organisation’s visibility, reputation, and relationships with current and potential patients.
• This role combines social media management, content creation, digital communication, brand promotion, public relations, and offline awareness activities to position the Eye Clinic as a trusted, professional, and exceptional eye care brand.

Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Management:

• Create and execute engaging social media content for the organisationacross relevant platforms.
• Develop a consistent content calendar aligned with ourmarketing and business objectives.
• Capture and share real-time stories from clinic activities (with patient consent).
• Respond promptly and professionally to comments, enquiries and messages on social media.
• Monitor social media conversations and engage with potential patients.
• Track social media performance and provide regular reports on reach, engagement, enquiries and growth.
• Stay informed about relevant social media trends and identify creative ways to increase our visibility.

Website & Digital Presence:

• Ensure the website remains current, accurate, professional and engaging.
• Regularly review website content, services, contact information, promotions, blog posts and other information.
• Identify areas where the website can be improved to create a better experience for prospective and existing patients.
• Coordinate updates to website content with relevant team members or external providers.
• Create and publish relevant blog articles and educational content that improve our online visibility and establish the clinic as an authority in eye care.
• Monitor online presence and identify opportunities to improve our visibility on search engines and other digital platforms.

Brand Promotion & Awareness:

• Develop creative strategies to increase awareness of the Clinic within Abuja.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations and promotional activities.
• Develop marketing campaigns for specific services, eye health initiatives, seasonal campaigns and special offers.
• Ensure all promotional materials and communications maintain our professional and premium brand image.
• Identify new channels and opportunities for reaching potential patients.
• Ensure we are consistently represented as a professional, trustworthy and patient-centred organisation across all communication channels. • Maintain a marketing and communications calendar covering online and offline activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Mass Communication, Business Administration or a related field.
• Experience in social media management, digital marketing, communications, public relations or customer-facing roles is an advantage.
• Demonstrable ability to create engaging social media content.
• Basic knowledge of content creation tools such as Canva and social media management platforms.

• Proficient in social media use and engagement strategies.
• Ability to create visual content using tools like CapCut, Canva and similar AI-related apps.
• Able to communicate professionally with patients and the public
