Cathodic Protection Technician (CP Technician)

Role Summary
- The Cathodic Protection Technician will be responsible for the installation and testing of cathodic protection system for the pipeline project.
Key Responsibilities
- Soil resistivity measurements using the wenner four-pin method.
- Hands-on experience in thermit welding, cable laying and test station installation as per approved drawings.
- Perform periodic monitoring and maintenance as required.
- Operate and maintain CP testing equipment including, Cu(Cuso4) reference cell, multimeter, clamp meter, megger and data logger.
- Prepare daily and monthly activity reports, highlighting field readings, anomalies and corrective actions.
- Ability to read and execute work as per technical drawings and procedures.
Requirements
- A Diploma or an HND / Degree in any course.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Cathodic Protection systems for a pipeline project.
