- We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for a paper packaging business. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in traditional (open) market sales, distribution channel development, and customer acquisition, preferably within the packaging or FMCG industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify new markets and expand sales through open markets, wholesalers and distributors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distribution partners.
- Drive sales of paper packaging products and identify new business opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategies.
- Negotiate and close sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Monitor sales performance, prepare reports and manage sales representatives where applicable.
Requirements
- Proven experience in traditional/open market sales is mandatory.
- Experience in paper or plastic food packaging sales is highly preferred.
- Strong network of distributors, wholesalers and open-market traders.
- Mid-level to senior-level sales experience, preferably in packaging, FMCG or related industries.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, business development and relationship management skills.
- Highly target-driven, commercially minded and able to work independently.
