- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, projects, partnerships, and potential clients within the construction and infrastructure sector.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to support the company’s revenue and growth objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, developers, government agencies, contractors, and other key industry stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, upcoming projects, competitors, and potential opportunities.
- Generate qualified leads and manage the business development pipeline from prospecting through engagement and conversion.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, expressions of interest, and other clientfacing documents.
- Represent the company at business meetings, industry events, conferences, and networking engagements.
- Prepare periodic business development reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Client Relationship Management, or a related commercial role.
- Previous business development experience within the construction, engineering, real estate, infrastructure, or related industry will be a strong advantage.
- Demonstrable experience in generating leads, developing business opportunities, acquiring clients, and contributing to revenue growth.
