Mixologist / Barman

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage guests warmly, professionally, and confidently while taking beverage orders.
• Prepare and serve a wide range ofalcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, mocktails, and specialty drinksto the required standard.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of classic cocktails, mixology techniques, ingredients, garnishes, spirits, wines, and other beverages.
• Follow approvedstandard recipes, measurements, preparation methods, and presentation standardsconsistently.
• Develop and suggestcreative and innovative cocktails, mocktails, seasonal drinks, and beverage conceptsthat enhance the guest experience.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, portioning, presentation, and overall beverage standards.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the bar menu, beverage offerings, ingredients, and daily specials.
• Ensure all drinks are prepared efficiently and accurately, particularly during busy service periods.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professionally presented bar and work area throughout the shift.
• Ensure proper storage, handling, preparation, and rotation of beverages, garnishes, ingredients, and bar supplies.
• Monitor bar inventory and promptly communicate stock requirements, shortages, wastage, or damaged items to the appropriate supervisor.
• Verify guest identification where required and ensure responsible service of alcoholic beverages in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Observe guest behaviour and escalate concerns involving intoxication, safety, or inappropriate conduct appropriately.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety at all times.
• Contribute ideas for new drinks, beverage promotions, menu improvements, and special events.
• Deliver a consistently professional, engaging, and premium guest experiencewhile representing the company’s service standards.
