Open Market Sales Representatives
Full-time
Summary:
We are looking for energetic, target-driven Sales Representatives with good knowledge of open markets, wholesalers and retailers. You should be comfortable working in the field, developing customers and driving sales within an assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Sell and redistribute products to wholesalers and retailers.
- Prospect and activate new outlets to expand market coverage.
- Build strong relationships with traders and key customers.
- Ensure product availability, visibility and merchandising.
- Execute assigned routes and conduct effective daily sales calls.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market feedback.
- Follow up on orders, payments and customer issues.
Requirements:
- OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent work experience will also be considered).
- 1–3 years' proven sales experience within Open Market and General Trade channels.
- Solid working knowledge of open-market dynamics and wholesale/retail sales operations.
- Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence traders and distributors.
- Target-driven and proactive, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Proficient with Android smartphones and mobile sales/order-taking applications.
