Batching Plant Mechanic
Craneburg Construction
Responsibilties
- Maintain and repair concrete batching plant equipment and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, and servicing.
- Maintain mixers, conveyors, hoppers, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, and hydraulic systems.
- Replace worn or damaged components and ensure equipment reliability.
- Maintain maintenance records and report major faults.
- Follow all HSE and site safety requirements.
Requirements
- OND / HND qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 - 5 years’ experience in batching plant or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and on construction sites.
