- The Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the general finance operations in Hydrogen.
- This role involves managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Job Description
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll, and utilities.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures to ensure the integrity of financial transactions and reporting.
- Coordinate and lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including tax filings and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with the CFO to develop financial strategies and plans to support the company's growth and profitability objectives.
- Serve as a finance business partner, delivering performance reports and insights to support strategic decisions and drive performance.
- Monitor cash flow, optimize working capital, and support treasury functions.
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to the holding company in line with group timelines and standards.
- Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (ACA) is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience in the payment services or fintech industry is highly desirable.
