Finance Accountant

Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will (but is not limited to):
- Supervise or execute fuel pipework interface to the dispensing island.
- Connect product lines and vapour recovery systems in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Install, route, align, joint, and fit fuel and related pipework.
- Perform pressure testing, leak testing, flushing, and inspection of pipework as required.
- Identify and rectify leaks, faulty connections, alignment issues, and other piping defects.
- Coordinate with the station MEP contractor to ensure proper integration of fuel piping with other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, piping layouts, specifications, and installation plans.
- Support testing, commissioning, and handover of fuel piping systems.
- Report technical challenges, defects, material requirements, and safety concerns to the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor.
- Maintain accurate records of pipework installation, testing, modifications, and inspection activities.
- Document and update pipework as-built information to reflect the final installation.
- Ensure proper use, handling, and maintenance of tools, equipment, fittings, and materials.
- Work collaboratively with other technicians, contractors, and site personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager/Site Supervisor.
Requirements
- B.Sc./B.A.in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience as an Accountant.
- Solid experience in bookkeeping, financial reporting, accounts receivable/payable, and bank reconciliation.
- Experience using accounting software and financial management systems.
- ICAN/ACCA certification or relevant professional qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in the Oil & Gas, downstream petroleum, or related industry is an advantage.

Salary
N500,000 per month.
