Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦300,000 Monthly (Net)

Job Summary

The Marketing & Communications Officer will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing and communication strategies to promote the company's brand, products, and services within a competitive telecom/ISP environment.

This role requires a creative and data-driven professional who can drive brand visibility, customer engagement, and lead generation through compelling content, digital marketing initiatives, and strategic campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategy Development

• Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Support market penetration, brand positioning, and customer acquisition initiatives.
• Identify growth opportunities across digital and offline channels.

2. Content Creation

• Create high-quality, engaging content for multiple platforms including:
  • Website and landing pages
  • Social media platforms
  • Email campaigns and newsletters
  • Marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, presentations)
• Ensure all content aligns with brand tone, voice, and messaging standards.

3. Campaign Management

• Plan, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns (Google Ads, social media ads, etc.).
• Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies for maximum ROI.

4. Social Media Management

• Manage and grow the company's social media presence across relevant platforms.
• Develop content calendars and ensure consistent posting schedules.
• Engage with customers, respond to inquiries, and manage online reputation.

5. Performance Analysis & Reporting

• Track and analyze key marketing metrics including traffic, engagement, leads, and conversions.
• Generate regular performance reports and insights for management.
• Recommend data-driven improvements to enhance campaign effectiveness.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Sales, Technical, and Product teams to align marketing efforts with business goals.
• Support sales initiatives with marketing materials and campaigns.
• Collaborate with external vendors, agencies, and media partners where required.

7. Market Research & Competitive Analysis

• Conduct market research to understand customer behavior, preferences, and trends.
• Monitor competitor activities and industry developments to inform strategy.

8. Brand Management & Consistency

• Ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all communication channels.
• Maintain brand guidelines and ensure compliance across internal and external communications.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in Marketing & Communications.
• Prior experience in Telecommunications or ISP industry is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and campaign management.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Excellent Communication Skills: Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication abilities with high attention to detail.
• Creative & Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop innovative marketing ideas and execute strategic campaigns.
• Analytical Skills: Proficiency in interpreting marketing data and optimizing performance.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with tools such as:
  • Social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X)
  • Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress)
  • Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
• Project Management: Ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines effectively.
• Team Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work across departments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in broadband, fiber, or telecom product marketing
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and digital advertising strategies
• Basic design skills (Canva, Adobe Suite) is an added advantage
