Digital Strategist - Team Lead

Job Summary

• The role holder should be an experienced Digital marketing strategist who can collaborate on digital marketing campaigns, identify needs and raise brand awareness, produce engaging, compelling, clear strategies, and use web technologies to achieve clients’ brief and vision.

Job Responsibilities
Digital Marketing:

• Design and implement digital media campaigns in line with business goals, brand objectives, and client needs.
• Support digital strategy, planning, and buying across relevant digital marketing channels, including websites, social media, and display advertising.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of digital projects, including website launches, online tools, web applications, and advertising campaigns.
• Track digital campaign performance using analytics tools and provide insights to improve engagement, brand awareness, and campaign effectiveness.

Performance Marketing:

• Plan, execute, and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns to achieve marketing objectives.
• Manage performance marketing campaigns across relevant advertising platforms to generate leads, drive conversions, and increase return on advertising spend (ROAS).
• Monitor campaign metrics, including click-through rates, cost per click, conversion rates, and cost per acquisition.
• Conduct audience targeting and campaign testing to improve advertising performance and budget utilization.
• Analyze campaign results and recommend improvements to targeting, bidding strategies, and overall campaign effectiveness.

Content Management:

• Plan, schedule, publish, and manage content across websites, social media, and other digital platforms.
• Develop and maintain content calendars in line with campaign schedules and marketing objectives.
• Coordinate the creation and delivery of digital content, including website content, blogs, press releases, podcasts, infographics, and videos.
• Ensure content is accurate, engaging, timely, and consistent with brand guidelines.
• Monitor content performance and recommend improvements to increase audience engagement and reach.

Copywriting & Storytelling:

• Write, edit, and proofread original copy, slogans, headlines, and compelling marketing and promotional materials for various products and services.
• Interpret copywriting briefs and develop creative concepts that align with project requirements, campaign objectives, and brand messaging.
• Write persuasive copy for advertisements, websites, social media, and other marketing materials.
• Collaborate with the creative team to develop cohesive concepts that align scripts with visual plans.
• Maintain brand consistency in all written communications across digital channels.

Project Support & Team Collaboration:

• Drive marketing projects to strengthen client relationships and ensure effective collaboration between the agency and its clients.
• Work closely with Digital, Creative, Experiential, PR, and other teams to develop and deliver marketing materials.
• Ensure briefs are clearly understood by all stakeholders and align campaign execution with client needs and objectives.
• Coordinate digital advertising production, including scripts, content plans, and other campaign deliverables.
• Manage digital projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and smooth project execution.

Reprting & Performance Tracking:

• Monitor digital campaign performance and prepare reports to evaluate results against campaign objectives.
• Track project progress, client commitments, and receivables related to digital projects.
• Analyze campaign and content performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Provide performance insights and recommendations to improve digital strategies, content effectiveness, and campaign outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree inSocial Sciences, Arts, or Creative fields, with a minimum of Second-Class Upper (2:1) from a reputable institution.
• Must be a creative mind and possess a great digital, graphics and storytelling skill
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation.
• 2–3-year work experience only.
• Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
• Creative thinker with prolific ideas
• Strong research skills
• Great presentation skills
• Experience with SEO.
