Social Media Executive

About the Role

• We're looking for a Social Media Executive who can be the voice of our brand across platforms and drive real engagement with our audience.
• This isn't just about posting content we need someone who understands the why behind every post, can spot trends before they blow up, and builds genuine communities around what we do.
• You'll own our social media strategy from the ground up, develop content that resonates, engage meaningfully with our audience, and track what's actually working.
• You'll be creative, analytical, and ready to adapt when the algorithm changes overnight.

What You'll Do
Social Media Strategy:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with our business goals and brand voice
• Define audience personas and tailor messaging for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Twitter/X, YouTube, etc.)
• Set quarterly social media objectives and KPIs, then actually hit them.
• Stay on top of platform changes and emerging trends to keep us ahead of the curve.
• Collaborate with leadership to align social initiatives with overall brand positioning.

Content Creation & Curation:

• Plan, create, and curate engaging content across all platforms (mix of videos, graphics, stories, reels, etc.)
• Develop a consistent posting schedule that keeps our audience engaged without burning you out.
• Write compelling captions and copy that reflect our brand personality.
• Build and manage a content calendar that balances promotional, educational, and entertainment value.
• Work with design and video teams to produce high-quality visual content.

Community & Engagement:

• Build and nurture an active, engaged community by responding to comments, DMs, and mentions in a timely, authentic way.
• Foster conversations that actually matter—we want real connections, not vanity metrics.
• Identify and engage with brand advocates and influencers in our space.
• Run community-building initiatives like campaigns, challenges, or Q&As
• Monitor sentiment and address feedback (positive and negative) thoughtfully

Analytics & Optimization:

• Track performance across all platforms using analytics tools and dashboards.
• Analyze what's working and what isn't—and have the data to back it up.
• A/B test content formats, posting times, and messaging to continuously improve results.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reports that show real business impact, not just vanity numbers.
• Use insights to inform future strategy and content decisions. Cross-Functional Collaboration.
• Partner with Marketing, Communications, and Product teams to ensure social supports larger initiatives.
• Brief internal teams on social performance and key audience insights.
• Support product launches and campaigns with strategic social amplification.
• Collaborate with Customer Service on social listening and rapid response.

What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree
• 3+ years of hands-on social media experience managing multiple platforms.
• Proven track record of growing engaged audiences (not just follower counts)
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms and platform best practices.
• Experience developing and executing social media strategies that drove measurable business results.
• Proficiency with social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social, or similar).
• Experience with analytics platforms and the ability to turn data into insights.
• Familiarity with content creation tools, video editing software, or graphic design is a plus.
