In-house Electronic Technician

Summary

• The Electronics Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and proper functioning of electronic equipment and systems used across the company's studios, offices, and production facilities.
• The role ensures that all studio and technical equipment remain operational, safe, and fit for production activities.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and repair electronic equipment used in recording and production studios.
• Conduct routine checks on studio equipment, including microphones, mixers, amplifiers, monitors, speakers, intercom systems, control panels, and related devices.
• Ensure all electronic equipment is functioning properly before, during, and after production activities.
• Diagnose faults and promptly resolve technical issues that may disrupt studio operations.
• Assist the production and technical teams during live recordings, shoots, and studio sessions.
• Develop and implement regular preventive maintenance schedules for studio and electronic equipment.
• Investigate electrical and electronic faults affecting studio and office equipment.
• Any other assigned duty

Qualifications & Experience

• OND, HND, B.Sc. / B.Eng. in Electronics Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Electronic Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience
• Practical experience troubleshooting electronic and audio-visual equipment is required.
• Experience working with studio/production equipment will be an added advantage.
• Technical certification or apprenticeship training.
